Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy
The policy below is applicable to this website and to Cal-State Steel Corp., a California corporation, (“CSSC”) in general.

Your privacy on the Internet is important to us. We have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. As part of the operations of CSSC, we gather certain types of information about CSSC website users. This CSSC Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") explains the types of information we gather, what we do with it and how you may correct or change information that CSSC may collect.

Information Collected by CSSC
CSSC collects two types of information about users: personal information (such as name and e-mail address) and aggregate information (such as information about how many users log on to our website on a daily basis).

Personal Information
Personal information is collected when users voluntarily provide feedback or ask questions through the CSSC website. Personal information includes names and e-mail addresses and any other user data that may be collected. We may also receive e-mail addresses from users who send us support mail or request technical or other help. This information enables CSSC to improve its website to make your online visits more productive and enjoyable.

Aggregate Information
One method of collecting aggregate information about your activities online is by tracking Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you surf the World Wide Web (the “WWW”). The computers that deliver the WWW pages to you automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you request a page from our website, our servers log your IP address. The CSSC website may record IP addresses for the purpose of system administration and to track the volume of use on our website. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our website. In addition, your IP address may be used to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information.

Sharing Data with Third Parties
CSSC may share personal information with consultants and affiliates for internal business purposes and may divulge personal information if such information is subpoenaed, or if CSSC believes that the website has been used to commit unlawful acts, or acts that may endanger the health or safety of another user or of the general public.

Use of Cookies
The CSSC website may use 'Cookies' to record information. A cookie is a small data file that websites store on your hard drive when you visit them. Cookies allow us to measure activity on our website and to improve your user experience. Cookies allow us to determine which areas and features of our website are most popular by measuring user activity. This information allows us to make improvements and updates to improve your CSSC experience. CSSC website does not use cookies to retrieve any information from your computer. Most browsers are set to accept Cookies. If you prefer, you may set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when Cookies are being sent.

Links to Third Parties
This website may contain links to websites other than our own. Those sites may not follow the same privacy policies as CSSC. Such links may be to advertisers, content providers or partners. These sites may send their own cookies to you, and may collect information and use it in a way inconsistent with CSSC’s privacy policy. Such sites may contain information that content providers independent of CSSC have created, maintained, published, posted or otherwise made available.

The use of any information or materials that you may access at these external sites is purely voluntary. These external sites may also refer to specific commercial products, processes, or services by trade name, trademark, service mark, manufacturer or otherwise. Additional Information
No transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of CSSC to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While we strive to protect your personal information, CSSC cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. Any such transmission is done at your own risk.
